Pieces And music and awesomeness

Ok so i am trying to improve my composition skills (writing music) and a great way to do that is to just write music but also to do a lot of different types of styles so what ideas do you guys have for me to write a piece about?
It could be about anything, for instance i wrote a peice about bullying, war, based of a scene in a book (for an english project and got a 100 on it
) as well as peices of convoluted story lines and souldoubt gave me the idea to write a piece about a rollercoster so im in the process of doing that now, so it can almost literally be about anything.
